Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples has been an American actress and performer for over 20 years. She won the most awards for her roles as Layla Grant and Claudia Shepard, respectively as Claudia Shepard and Layla Grant in Nashville (2012). She also was in the role of Jerrica Jem for the film Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples grew up in Lake Mary Florida by parents Wendy and Ashley. She has a younger sister Ally. Aubrey was a member of Orlando Repertory Theatre during her childhood. Aubrey graduated from Lake Mary Preparatory School and was awarded valedictory honors for this class in 2012 as she completed her studies. Harvard University admitted her, however, she was required to vote on her entry again the second time because of her Nashville part. Peeples appeared on the screen in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011, Grey's Anatomy (2005) as and Grey's Anatomy (2005). Also, she had a regular role in Necessary Rustness (1991). She was in the made-for TV films Ace Ventura Jr.: Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. In the second season, she played Layla Grant in the Nashville drama. Peeples disclosed that she suffers from bipolar disorder during an interview in 2019 with NKD Magazine. Indiewire included Peeples among the top performers under the age of twenty of age in September 2014.
